Feeding DirectionsFeed as the sole ration to growing goats continuously. Feed along with water, hay and salt.
CautionDo not allow horses or other equines access to this feed. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin Medicated feed is safe for use in goats only. Consumption in unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not feed to lactating dairy cows. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentration of monensin could be fatal to goats; must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use; do not feed undiluted. Do not feed to lactating goats. For control of coccidiosis during an outbreak, medication with Monensin should be initiated as soon as the diagnosis is established. The efficacy of Monensin treatment of individual animals exhibiting clinical signs of coccidiosis has not been established. Do not feed to sheep. For ruminant only.
